The Ultimate Choice of Fishing Lakes

There are so many lakes in this world of ours and choosing the best one can be very hard, as a dedicated angler myself I have always fished the same lakes over and over again but one day I woke up and decided I need a change of scenery and that is when I went to my uncles and cousins house and said look I have come across this place do you fancy it and to my surprise they agreed.

We went of to France to catch the Carp and or Catfish of our dreams, we went for 2 weeks the first week was all about carp and the second was all about catfish, the lake is called Etang Le Rocher it opened in 1999 as is approx 7 acres and anglers catered for 7 max (3 rods per angler).

The lake is tree lined with many features plus gravel pitches, deep margins and stream fed, there are no weeds, and the lodge has a bar, sky TV, pool table, dart board and fantastic breakfasts which is served daily plus stunning cooked meals in the evening.

The Etang Le Rocher Lake is stocked very well with fish such as carp which I love fishing for and the carp in this lake are well into the double figures and some what I know of hitting high 40 pounders.

The best rigs that work the best are simple rigs and boilies, plus some particle feed.

Do you know of any fantastic fishing lakes that you have been to that other anglers will love? If so please let us and our readers know all about the lake is and where. Thanks.

I prefer Lake Sakakawea for its sear beauty and abundance of wildlife. I believe its the largest man made lake in the United States.

Nice fishing lake. I live in Florida and recommend Lake Walk in Water for some awesome bass fishing with both quantity and size.
