Oakley Why 8.1 Polarized Sunglasses
You are asking the question WHY well let me tell you, these look, and work and feel fantastic. Oakley a big name brand has always impressed me with their sunglasses range and now these polarized sunglasses over you the fishing ultimate in accessories for fishing. These sunglasses eliminate all sun glare and distortion on the water level allowing you to see what really is happening. These are made with revolutionary adhesives and thermal shaping to allow these sunglasses to do their job. Now the price ready, around about $250 but that’s a good price if you ask me you are getting pure style and quality.
I like the Oakleys for weight but for the quality of the optics and plain old glare reduction, I prefer the Costa del Mars. Their “Eliminator” model are my favs due to the wrap around side pannels.
We live in Texas and fish both fresh and salt water. The glare isn’t as bad here as say, the Keys, but it gets pretty rough after 6 or 8 hours working the reds.
Now, like I said, the Oakleys have every other brand whipped as far as weight goes. If you get headaches and such, it’s the best option for you.
